This is Norrbottens Bergteknik!

Norrbottens Bergteknik is a leading Swedish company in rock handling. We have great expertise and are a comprehensive player in the field, such as drilling, rock excavation and rock reinforcement. The assignments are carried out in all types of environments such as the countryside, mountains and cities. We operate from areas where nature is the only neighbour to densely populated urban environments.

Magnus Jonsson - drill rig operator

For us at Norrbottens Bergteknik, the core is rock handling. We specialise in rock and are proud to be one of Sweden's leading players in the field.

It all started 60 years ago when founder Wolgan Karlsson joined his father Helmer as a drilling and blasting apprentice. In those days, work was done with handheld machines and working conditions were tough.

But even then, the journey that has shaped us into who we are today began. Early on, Wolgan had a desire to develop, a drive to do things better and a desire to do his best in all situations. He created a strong belief in the future and a spirit of always taking care of each other, whether they were colleagues or customers.

Today we are a company with a turnover of almost SEK 300 million and development is proceeding at a rapid pace. We are part of the Nordisk Bergteknik group, and together with our sister and subsidiary companies we have the opportunity to grow and become stronger throughout the country.

With our experience, knowledge and committed employees, we want to contribute to society through long-term partnerships. Our focus is to find the best solution in each assignment so that we can constantly create benefits for our customers and clients.

We also have a clear ambition to develop technology and working methods. Our machinery is well-equipped and we endeavour to have a well-maintained and modern fleet in order to keep the working environment and operational reliability at its peak. We are constantly developing and refining our work processes and have a strong focus on safety.

Within Norrbottens Bergteknik, each employee plays a crucial role in the development of the company, the results of the projects and the good co-operation with the customers.

A success factor is the commitment of all employees, a will based on curiosity, participation, responsibility and not least joy!
